Avery's Apparatus Pics
|
This rig is a twin to the one in my previous post. I shot this in 2018, where it had been moved to Station 4 and painted with a red stripe. However, when I stopped by Station 4 this year, it was no longer there. Rumor has it, it will return back to Thomas Drive/Station 1.

This is what Engine 4 is running currently. This is one of many Freightliner/E-Ones that the county has, and is going to apparently keep getting.

Avery - Would you mind sharing your camera/lens setup, and what settings you use to get these photos? The color and clarity is incredible. I'd like to see if I can get my photos to come out as well as yours.

For the most part, I use the 18-55mm kit lens that comes with the camera for apparatus photography. I also have a 70-300mm lens that I use on fire scenes that is amazing, but that doesn't come out of the bag for apparatus photos. There are a few occasions where I have borrowed lenses and cameras from friends/family, but only a few of the photos I have posted here have come from that. Probably go with the D5600.(10-09-2019, 07:08 PM)Image7801 Wrote: Avery - Would you mind sharing your camera/lens setup, and what settings you use to get these photos? Great stuff, Avery! I haven't posted pics on here in years due to the inconvenience of having to resize all my photos to post here but I always check to see GA Dave's new posts. Looks like I need to keep tabs on your stuff too! Keep up the great work!

I've tried, Dave, thanks.
