Quote:Are the 2 E-One industrial engines (Red October & Big Gulp) still at the Port Everglades station?
One of the big E\-One pumpers is now sitting out back with a blown engine. I think it's been stripped and is awaiting auction or something. Other than what we shot, the only thing missing was the Mack tractor and trailer.

Good evening Mark, Bruce W. Anderson here from southeastern PA. By any chance do you have a photo of a 2000 Pierce Contender engine from Lealman (Pinellas County, FL) ? The reason I ask is because it was recently purchased by Lancaster City (Lancaster County, PA) and will go into service soon as a front line engine. Many thanks, Bruce Wrote:Anchorage, AK's 2012 Spartan-Smeal Sirius 1500/300/100' Platform, Truck 5, Job #4095.

The former Palm Springs, FL Public Safety Department once ran this 1989 E\-One 1500/300/80' Ladder as Ladder 3, their only ladder. The department was later separated into both a police and a fire department before the fire department was absorbed into Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. I heard stories years ago of unsuspecting motorists being surprised when they were pulled over by a fire truck only to be approached by a police officer. The ladder truck had both red and blue lights on it way before the days that it became a little more common in Florida.
