Quote:Ok, in order to correct the distorted photos that I posted earlier, I re-scanned them. I'll post them below. But first, I found this one and re-scanned it too. It wasn't posted earlier. It is a former Westbrook Fire Protection, Dundalk, MD 1964 Ward LaFrance Pumper known as Engine 642. I don't know the other specifics.



This is 85-08, a 1964 Mark I 1000/300 delivered to Kenmore, NY. When retired by Kenmore, it was sold to a collector in the Baltimore area named Westbrook.

The only other WLFs of this style that Freeport had were the Hi-Ranger and a pumper for Hose 4, so it would be these two rigs. I have them both as 1972 models. Here is the Hi-Ranger....

It was replaced by a 1998 Spartan/RD Murray, and for quite some time sat outside behind Hose 5's firehouse.

Sadly, both of these plus T-5 (the other WLF Hi-Ranger) are long gone

T-24 & T-5 were 75' 250/150 I believe. E-9 was 1000/500.
