Looks like you made it back by my old hometown Dave! Auburn is getting two new Sutphens in the next year or so... A Guardian to replace the KME, and a Monarch for Station 6 in the North Auburn/Farmville area.

Long time no hear from! How are you, man?
I was informed about the new rig at E-1, but they didn't mention anything about Station 6.

HS-6717 Due to be complete end of November/first of December
HS-6813 Due to be complete end of April/ first of May
Also, no such thing as a "Guardian". Every cab/chassis is and has been a Monarch model. Sutphen only builds one line of cab and chassis.

Yeah man it's been too long! I've been great. Still working in Jacksonville, living in St. Augustine. Only 7 years and 9 days until retirement but who's counting? How have you been?
Auburn Station 6 (https://www.auburnalabama.org/engineerin...ion-no.-6/) will be open in the Fall of 2021. They wanted to get the truck built and ready before the station so they are good to go on day one. Sutphen told them 12-18 months so they must be pretty busy!

Good to know. Their purchase contract specifically stated a Guardian.
This one is a bit of a mystery. The department purchased it used from some small FD in South Carolina (they think!). Ignore the Pierce logo on the front bumper, Pierce didn't build it. There are no other markings on the body at all, although it resembles that of Walker and 4-Guys. Does anyone recognize it?
