The Harwood Fire Company had their annual Father's Day BBQ yesterday and Rummage Sale. I stopped by and had some good BBQ and took a couple of pictures of their new to them Engine 241-1

Here are a couple of shots of the new Engine when it was still Red and marked for Bethpage. These are from the Harwood Fire Company Facebook Page and credit to the original photographer. I think the guys did a great job with getting it up and running.

During the Standoff in Hazleton last night the Hazleton Fire Department was on standby and in a couple of places blocking traffic. Engine 5 of the "14th Ward Fire Company" was there so I took this picture with my cell phone(learned a very important lesson charge the camera battery and the cell phone battery. Both died on me during the stand off.) And yes I have posted it before but this is even a better picture of the rig

The City of Hazleton Fire Department runs two different Ladder Trucks. They switch them on and off. Here is the second one

Down on PA 309 there is a shop where the guy buys and sells old fire trucks. He has three or four of them sitting there right now.
This is a newer one that he has. I have no idea who makes the rig as I have not had a chance to stop by longer than just a minute. Lewiston Fire Company No 1 Ex Engine 2

Here is another one that is sitting at the same shop. I do not have any information on it and I keep wanting to stop by the place and ask and get better pictures but I just have not had the time.

I have posted this one before but I was able to get a better shot of it at the Harwood Fire Companies annual bazaar earlier in Sept.
