Some quick info on Mt. Pleasant's trucks.
Tanker 1 was originally built by Smith Tanks in Tyler TX. Last year the tank was leaking horribly, and beyond repair. The City paid for a new tank on it. It has a 2000 gallon tank on it now I believe, I'll check next time I am at the station. Engine 1 is 1250/100 Engine 2 is also 1250/1000. It is also currently out of service after being involved in a major MVA on 3/19. Pierce flew in last week to look at it. At least 8 months repair time. Will be leasing a new Pierce engine for station 2 shortly. Currently running Quint 1 first out on structure fires, and E7/R2 on MVA's.
Here's a shot in the dark....I'm looking for a '58 IHC/Howe owned by Geranimo Village Fire Department (just outside of San Antonio). If any of you Texas fire buffs have a picture of this, please post.
I ahve attempted to contatc the department with no results. Thanks.

Didn't Texarkana have a few of these?

This isn't quite a current Texas rig, but how about an EX-Texas truck? <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> It was once a lovely shade of white/carolina blue with gold lettering.

I believe they had two. They are both gone now - Texarakna just got two new Enforcer Engines and a new Dash 2000 Quint. I have those on digital and need to resize them to post. Haven't got around to that yet.....
