A buddy of mine that lives in Ridgefield snapped this picture of the 1978 GMC Saulsbury  Making It’s return back to Ridgefield after being given to Bergen County fire academy in 2008 for use as a spare  after a long career as a front line piece It was one of the best equipped rescues & often requested for mutual aid  Ridgefield also responds  out to the NJ Turnpike  As you can see it was used for parts too Unit sold back to Ridgefield for 1 dollar & is now restored painted pink &is part of Northern Nj. Pink heals Credit to the photographer

LA County Heavy Rescue 103.
This is now Reserve Heavy Rescue 5103.......Newer unit placed in service in early 2019.
Remember, it's their Emergency, not yours !  Arrive Alive !

This is what I have on the "armored" car - 1938 Ford, full cab, chassis with custom body, in 1951, Ed Marsh who was a borough councilman-was also president of Marsh Motor Protective Agency-donated a used armored bank truck to the borough and the fire company-co. members built shelves for interior and converted it into a emergency unit, in service till 1953.
