MVC-Providence, RI-Route 10 at Cranston St-3/21/21
#1
I got out for the first time in ages and of course nothing was happening.  I was heading home after putting 100+ miles on the car when a RI State Trooper came up on the radio reporting she had just been struck by a white BMW.  She reported that she had the car stopped at the scene and there were minor injuries.

Providence fire sent Engine 8, Tower Ladder 2 and Rescue 2, with Engine 8 arriving first, reporting no injuries and cancelling the Rescue.  I shot the scene from the other side of the highway and had to use a very high ISO because I didn't want to risk blinding traffic on the still-active highway by using a flash, so I apologize for the quality of the images.

A VERY lucky Trooper!

The best closeup of the BMW I could get

Great shots given they are at night with no flash from a distance. Hope the trooper is okay and back on duty soon.

I believe she refused care at the scene.
