Besides the City of Greenwood FD, Greenwood County, SC is protected by a combination of volunteer FD's with a few stations staffed with County career Firefighters.  In 2019, the County purchased five engines, four tankers, and two aerials, along with five Type 6 brush trucks.  The County-purchased apparatus are all black/red.
