Patterson's other Knocker, known as Ford, was out of service, so I wasn't able to get a photo of it.

Having completed my 4 county target list for the day shortly after 4PM, I realized that I was only 14 miles from the nearest Camden County station and still had almost two hours of daylight. Two counties to go.......

So, it's now 4:30 and I am 25 miles from Darien (McIntosh County). I call my contact and it goes to voicemail. Since going I-95 to I-16 to I-75 is the quickest route home, I decide to head to Darien anyway. I called my contact 4 more times on the way, but still no answer. I'm hoping to catch someone at their station, but when I get there, no one is there. It's just after 5, but the sun is still high enough to get decent pics. As I debate my next move, the phone rings and it's my contact. He tells me that someone will be there to assist me in less than ten minutes.

With this rig, I have now photographed apparatus from every county (159) in the State of Georgia.

Henry County, GA continues to upgrade their fleet with the purchase of six new pumpers from the Pierce stock truck program, adding to the ten purchased since 2016.  Three of the new rigs have been placed in service so far.
