Since returning from the Virginia trip, I have been catching up on new deliveries as they trickle into service.  The relatively new City of South Fulton picked up this former demo rig recently.  I was going to shoot it the same day I shot the Sutphen SLR-108 quint I posted several weeks back, but it was in the radio shop that day.  Like the Sutphen, it is not in their usual pewter/red paint scheme.  The pump panel is reminiscent of the console designs once used by JACO, Towers and Central-St. Louis.

This is a funeral caisson operated by the Georgia Fallen Firefighters Foundation.  It originally served as Engine 5 in DeKalb County, GA, a 2003 Spartan/Crimson 1000/500, #M-1599.  The water tank and hose bed were removed and a modified pneumatic motorcycle lift was installed, operating off the vehicle's air system.  It is available for Firefighter funerals statewide.
