Yesterday, I returned to Fannin County, along with Chad Barday and Mark Carr, where the Chief escorted us to their 13 other stations and pulled the rigs outside for photos.  I left the house at 0530 and got back around 2000.  We shot everything else in the fleet, besides Station 1 apparatus, except one tanker that was at the shop and one rescue truck that was on a call.  This was supposed to be yesterday's post:

Apparently, this one was refurbed early in life, but I have no clue why.

Thanks! After further investigation, it turns out that this platform is a 1983 Ladder Towers, Inc. that was built on a Spartan chassis with Grumman bodywork. The chassis is a 2001 Dash 2001 (#12454) and it was completed, including new bodywork and modifications to the aerial, by the Pierce refurb shop in 2002 (#F-4616). Records have been corrected.

Back when we visited Fannin County Station 1, the Chief offered to escort us to all their stations and pull out all their apparatus, on a day in the near future where the weather was decent.  That occurred on November 7th.  We met up with the Chief at Station 1 and followed him to 13 other stations around the County, shooting every rig in the fleet except one tanker that was in the shop and one rescue that was on a call.

I left the house at 0600 yesterday and got back home after 2130, so here is yesterday's post:

I usually shoot only one example when a department has more than one of the same rig, but when the Chief is taking you to every station, you shoot them all.  Fannin County has several twin or triplet apparatus, as you will see over the next few weeks.
