On May 11th, I drove to Durham, NC to the home of "The Silent One" for several days of apparatus photography.  The weather sucked the entire trip and no apparatus were photographed along the way.  The 12th was not much better, but the sun broke out in the afternoon, so we tried for a few local area rigs.

By the time we got to Hillsborough, the clouds had gotten darker again.  We took the shot, but it came out really bad, so we returned on a better day and shot it again.

We also stopped at Efland.  The shot was dark and I have lightened it some.  We went back twice, but didn't catch anyone at the station.

By the time we got to Elon's other station, it had clouded up.  As we shot the rescue, it began to sprinkle.  By the time they got the pumper out, it was raining.  I returned on my way back to Atlanta and reshot both.
