This rig ended the May trip on the 24th.  Due to the weather and other commitments, I didn't photograph any more apparatus until June 12th.

Based around the annual fire apparatus show at the North Carolina Transportation Museum on June 14th, I met up with several apparatus photographers - Jon Umbdenstock (The Silent One), Mark Carr and Mike Quinn - on the morning of June 12th for several days of apparatus hunting.  Micah Bodford would join up with us in another hour, with Chad Barday and Robert "Punkin" Duncan joining in the next morning.  Our first stop was Converse, SC, but they were out on a call.  Next was Whitney, SC, followed by Cherokee Springs, SC; same story.  We soon found out that all were at a large fire at an industrial complex involving hazardous materials.  We continued north.....
