I believe that there are 11 of these DHS funded Haz Mat rigs through out the state. Of the several that we have shot in the state, this is the first one photographed with the trailer attached. Most leave the trailer off the truck.

The SBM Engines were authorized at a price of $350,452 per rig for a total of $700,904 for both.

What City on the White truck? I saw the one at Duluth and they pull the large trailer also.

The State unit is currently housed at Blaine Station 3. It rotates between SBM Fire and Coon Rapids Fire, so everyone has a chance to maintain the truck. While all the CAT Teams came with the same trailer, it seems to me that very few of the FF's, where these are located, bother to keep the Truck/Trailer attached all the time.

When I first saw this chassis at the plant, I thought that it was for a Ladder Truck. This truck features a midship pump, with controls in the rear officer side compartment.

I finally found the city council minutes for the new Rescue Engine Bayport is purchasing. In what has to be a very rare event, Pierce was low bidder at $537,329. Others have heard that the chassis is the new Velocity.

We have been trying to get caught up with some of the new deliveries, in the area.



First up is Shakopee, MN R-9514. This is the second nearly identical rescue purchased in the last year, along with a new pumper and aerial.
