The next day brought the Fire Engine Festival at Spencer, NC.  Turnout was way down from previous years, in both apparatus and spectators.  I shot ten apparatus and we were out of there before lunch.

My trip to Frankenmuth was great!  I made many stops along the way going up and coming back, plus I shot several FD's while up there.  The weather was very cooperative, with a heavy thunderstorm between Knoxville, TN and Corbin, KY on the way up, heavy fog in the morning on the last day in Richmond, KY and a few sprinkles just as I was getting home last night.  Okay, now where was I......
