Greenback still has this 1969 Hahn in service. It was purchased (via Hillbilly) from Swarthmore fire co.
I stopped to get gas, out of the corner of my eye, could it be?
No way! Boght Corner NY 1966 Hahn was refirbed by SPI. Can anyone fill me in on who SPI is?

They turned out fire apparatus for such diverse communities as South Bend, IN, Knoxville, TN, San Francisco, and Washington, DC in the 1980’s. I believe Grumman bought what became their Aerial Cat from Steeldraulics. SPI did a lot of refurbishment and finished some Pirsch apparatus at that company’s end. I used to do a day trip with the kids and swing by their plant. I was surprised such a small operation turned out apparatus for major cities. They folded in the late 80’s.
