-Moon Island Burn Building went out for bid in 10/05, construction begins in '07 budget, completed in Fall of 2007.

This is the current live burn building at the academy (sorry this isn't a apparatus picture but i thought it would help for a visual), according to personal at the academy the BFD cant light fires in this building any more, they can only smoke the building. As Mr. Burke has pointed out (as have i in the past) the Moon Island complex is going to get a new live burn building, and according to personal at the academy new confined space rescue/tunnel facilities. The grounds of the academy are also going to be re paved along with updated utilities, basically a well needed face lift.
