Hahn...post them if you got them.
Looking at post 1240 note the use of a 90 degree angle adapter on the hydrant to make the connection with the soft sleeve. Does anyone from Philly know if this was a common hook up using this fitting?

Yes, this was a common hook up for first alarm companies back then. Companies responding on an extra alarm were, and still are, required to use a hard suction connection to the hydrant.

Jack: Many thanks, I was really interested in the use of the 90 degree angel fitting on the hydrant as I have only seen this in one of two locations.

Along I-95 in Florida, by one of the many junctions with US 1, near St Augustine, there's a flea market next to a field where a lot of used utility trucks are for sale. We've passed it many times in the past but what makes it different this time, there's a mid/late 1980's Hahn aerial amongst the vehicles. I can tell that it is Hahn, at least the front, because the cab is the custom cab that Hahn built in that era. Forgive me if this has been posted before and answered. I was just wondering if anyone had any info on it.

I was a volunteer in Glastonbury. At one time Glastonbury ran within their fleet 7 Hahn pumpers. They were awesome apparatus. Let me get my act together, and I will post some pictures...
