Does anyone have any pictures and specs on a unique Pierce? pumper out of the Sherbourne (Killington) Vermont FD? I hear they have quite a special unit with a custom cab and I am hoping someone has a set of pics and specs.
Did anyone notice anything unique about the front of the fire house in Proctor? How many fire stations have a facade made of marble? Not unusual in Proctor, VT which is home to a marble quarry!

To Chief66:
The unique rig from Killington is in the fire card series that came out some years back, i believe 1993. I've seen it before, it has a custom cab however there are no jump seats, just the driver and officer seat, right behind those seats are compartments rather than jump seats. It was on a single rear axle and carried 1800 gallons of water if i remember correctly and had a 1250 gpm pump. there are a couple Pierce engines that are similar in connecticut. One i believe is in killingworth and the other i think in hampton but im not 100 percent sure. They did not have as big of tanks either.

The truck in question is not really a Pierce. The truck is on a Pierce Dash chassis, but was finished by EJ Murphy in Massachussets through an agreement with another company. It is a nightmare with a poorly conceived CAFS system. Again, it is not a Pierce and actually does not have Pierce emblems but EJ Murphy emblems. My understanding is the truck is being disposed of. It is a rear mount pumper.
