Here are a couple of shots we got yesterday while mounting equipment.
Beautiful and LIME
MWAA is fine but how about Dulles International Airport and Chrome Yellow. As far as I know these where the first rigs delivered.

How about Red 215. Same credits
hey arff-ff I want to try to get some shots of the two Quantums when I am in town in April. Any particular contact to talk to about that? Feel free to send me a pvt message with the info.
Great pics in the hanger btw. I thought I heard somewhere that they were going to build a new station at National....any truth to that?

People complaining about spam in the spam mail box... Huh, what'll they think of next?
Earlier this week while traveling home from work, I heard Fairfax County, Virginia units operating at a large brush fire in Chantilly. They put in a special call for additional engines, including Dulles Airport's Engine 380 that is stationed on the grounds at Dulles in their newer station by the air museum. At Ashburn, we run with Dulles Airport on the Greenway, a toll road. We typically run with their Pierce Quantum rescue engine (Rescue Engine 324, a 1999 Quantum). Engine 380 rarely makes it off airport property.
I found Engine 380 in staging and was able to get a quick photo. 2004 Pierce Dash 1500/580/40 pump in rear compartment with discharges off of rear. Have not researched the Pierce job number yet....anyone have it quickly? 60 and 70 degrees earlier this week and a large brush fire....now it is raining, sleeting, and snowing...with plenty of auto accidents. Thanks, Mike Sanders Ashburn, VA

Any updates on any new or ordered WMAA apparatus at Dulles or National?

New medic unit for National should be ordered soon and there should be a new crash truck for Dulles and talks about a tower for Dulles. Also Nationals new Battalion buggie should be completed soon, but it should be sent to FedEx (Sprinter) <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_crazy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Actually a great question, how hard it it to get into the airport to shoot rigs at National and Dulles

Station 303 at Dulles is easy because it is on the street side, 302 at Dulles and 301 at National is a little harder because you have to be escorted on the airfield side. I have two other members of Firepics that want to come out and shoot the apparatus at National, I am just waiting for us to finish up detailing all the apparatus and then I am going to try and get them in at the same time, if you want I can send you the dates one I figure them out.
