Seriously though, the bucket sustained somewhere in the neighborhood of $40,000 worth of damages when they peeled the roof off a BEMS rig that cut them off in front of their quarters. Given the age and cost to repair we decided to scrap it. It's definately NOT down at the Shops (I was down there last week) and it's not at our firehouse. Greenwood is a possibility as Ladder 25 is down there having the cab replaced/repaired.[/quote]
Just some facts...it didn't peel the roof off, and the ambulance didn't cut them off in front of qtrs...they collided at an intercection responding to the same medical from different directions...Rgardless of fault, no one was seriously injured.
That is also not the first bucket on the "Tower Unit" that would be the second one... the first being removed by a U Haul coming off the X Way while it was parked out on the apron.. years ago when it was only a few years old...

Haven't heard any complaints since the blown water pump was replaced a couple of months ago.
