And here is the rig I was referring to earlier. Anyone recognize the graphics scheme and the bus-style doors? If you guessed Phoenix, you would be right. This tractor now pulls the USAR trailer for Troutman. Unfortunately, we couldn't convince them to pull this one out.
any idea who built the body on this rig? ALF was not building complete rigs at this point.
thanks.
Looks like a 3-D body, the angled diamond plate at the top of the highsides and the black vinyl pump panel are 3-D signatures.
Continuing tonight where I left off is more shots from Iredell County,NC. I'm not sure who built the body on the Eagle from West Iredell, we didn't notice a builders plate so I assumed it was all-ALF.

Here was the truck we were really wanting to see and the whole reason for going to Iredell County. There isn't nothing like getting to shoot a CF/Scope!!!
Mt. Mourne VFD Truck 7
1990 Mack CF688FC-1425/Baker
75' Aerialscope
#116960
X-White Hall,PA
Micah Bodford
Fire Investigator
City of Winston-Salem Fire Dept.
The next place we got shots at was Mooresville, also known as Race City USA. It gets this name due to the large amount of NASCAR shops in the area. Currently, Ladder 1 is the only unit housed downtown. Engine 1 is awaiting delivery of a new rig.

Andrew, by any chance did you get the Baker serial #?
I dont have this one in my aerialscope database. very curious to see where it falls in.
Every year I travel to Wilington, NC for vacation and everyday I try to get by the tations and take some pics. Where I stay is actually in New Hanover County on west of the City of Wilmington in the Myrtle Grove Fire District (Monkey Juntion to the old time locals). I went by the Mytle Grove VFD station but no one was there so I went down to the Federal Point VFD station which is located off of route 40 before you cross over the Intercoastal waterway. On the way to Carolina Beach I new unit caught my eye so I made sure that I went back by to get some pics while the wife and kids were occupied.
Here is one of 5 new Pierce Dash pumpers purchased by New Hanover County. Its not in service yet but should be soon.
Here is one of the rear. Sorry quite a tight area behind the station. Oh if you could not tell this will be Engine 91 <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
