Here is the old Tanker which was sitting out back waiting for the shop to pick it up. I did not get the pump size or year but it has 1000 gal. tank and the body is by EEI? The plan is to have it refrebed and used as a reserve for the county.

That's it for tonight. I did stop by City of Wilmington Station 1 but it was in the afternoon and with the heat index at 105 degress I did not ask for them to pull the rigs out and I hate taking pics inside. I enjoyed the tour and they run an Engine, Tower, Squad (Extrication/ Fire support) Dive unit, and mini pumper. This station also responses to the boat which is a new 50' Metalcraft Firestorm. I have family in Wilmington so I will get more pics in my travels.

We asked to get this one pulled out as well, but they did not want to pull it out. So we ended up shooting a DSS shot.

This rig isn't original to NC, but it is currently owned by an individual in my hometown of Burnsville, NC.

Last week, I was able to add a few more photos to my collection from the Charlotte area after classes at UNCC. Here is what I found. I stopped by Harrisburg station 2 and this truck was already sitting outside, but no one was around.

Charlotte Station 29 was next which is on Margaret Wallace Rd. in Southeast Charlotte. They have an engine, ladder, and brush truck at 29, but the ladder was on a call so I was unable to shoot it.

Here is the brush truck. This is one of the newer brush units, most of the other CFD stations that are assigned a brush are running older Ford F250 pickups.
