I'm new to the site ; there 's some great info and pics. I heard from a couple shop guys that KME has been given the contract for the new tower ladder are they really going to make the same mistake twice. I guess they did not learn the lesson with the TL they ordered from KME a couple of years ago?Does anybody if there will be any kind of tour of the old HQ on race st before it is demolished; it would be great to see the building inside and out for the last time.

Good god, what the hell happened to it, this looks a little more extreme than just left out to rot, but the engine still looks to be in there, so it doesn't look like it was salvaged either, anyone know the story-did it catch on fire?

I will share a few photos I was sent from the Grand opening of the new American LaFrance factory in Summerville S.C. All 5 of the Philly pumpers were on dislay only Pipeline 20 and Pipeline 28 were lettered the other 3 were not, I was sent these photos from my best friend who is a Firefighter/Medic in the City of Goose Creek, I will post these shots with the proper photo credit,I'm not sure where the other 3 pumps are going I'm sure Jack will have more accurate information. Take Care!!
