St. Louis Metro
Here are two units that i dont have much info on except that they are from The Shell Oil Company in Wood River, IL. One is a command type vehicle and the other is designated as foam engine no. 30.

Any info is welcome.

Nice older rally shots Ben.

The Metro West E-3342 is a 1993 Sutphen 75' 1500/500/50, since has been replaced by a 2007 Spartan/Crimson.

The Valley Park tanker has been sold, I dont know the FD that purchased it.

Richmond Heights E-2110 is a 1995 Pierce Quantum, I dont know the specifics, but is a reserve and replaced by a 2005 Pierce Quantum.

The Robertson ladder has been replaced by a 2001 Pierce Quantum 100'.

Im pretty sure the Columbia unit is from Columbia, IL.

Long Lake is also in IL, I believe around Pontoon Beach.

This evening I attended the Cardinals games with my mom. The Cards played Cinci Reds and won 11-3. Leaving the stadium I got some shots of StLFD E-2 and 7. Only these two came out decent. I like this first one.

A few questions if I may:

Is Command Unit 900 a dedicated unit in terms of staffing? Where is quartered?

Are there still 2 Haz Mat Co.'s? 1 in the city and 1 at the airport? Are they cross-staffed or have their own staffing?

Thanks.

Unit 900 is staffed by overtimers or shop staff and is stored at the shops/Engine 2.

There is a Haz-Mat System in the STLFD. Haz-Mat 1 is a freightliner. Haz-Mat 2 is former Rescue 2's 1989 Spartan Gladiator/Saulsbury. Haz-Mat 3 is the former air truck that is a former Grey Eagle Beer Truck and Haz-Mat 4 is a small trailer pulled by Haz-Mat 3. Haz-Mat 1 & 2 are cross-manned by engine 28/H&L 15. Don't Know about the others.

Today was the annual Greater St. Louis Fire Engine Rally held in Downtown St. Louis. I'll post some of my pictures and let some of the other firepixers get theirs in.

First is the parade lineup. I went back to this spot to try and get Union Station in background.
