Thanks all for the info on the Gator. That was a name I never heard up here in PA.[/quote]
Gator was a local builder off of 49th St. N. in an industrial area of Pinellas Park north of St. Petersburg, FL. I think they mostly built squad type trucks. Those 5 pumpers on the Pemfabs were the only one's I know of locally. I've searched all morning for the photo of Pumper 36 from Pinellas Park, to no avail. I know it's on the board somewhere.

They had rear mounted pumps with all disgharges off the rear. The ladders were stored up high in the hose bed. As GADave said, originally had the metallic brown stripe, but restriped red with the arrival of a new Fire Chief. Pinellas Park, also part of the Pinellas County 911 System, had two delivered, assigned originally to E34 and E36. One remains assigned as a reserve, P36. I think it appeared in a thread here, can't remember which one.

I took this photo many years ago while on vacation in Florida.

Thanks Mike. Great to see those old rigs again. The Pemfab/Gator at E34 was reassigned to E35, then sold I believe. The one assigned to E36 remains as a spare pumper, P36. There is a photo of it on the board, still trying to find it.

Here's a shot of that PemFab/Gator as Engine 36 in Pinellas Park taken in March on the Florida Spring Thaw trip. Palm Beach County also had a few Gator pumpers refurbs as well as 5 Ford F350 squads.
That Neshannock Twp FD Trench unit is interesting. Can't say I've ever seen such a set up. Pat, you don't by chance no what the portable monitor on the front bumper is all about do you?
So, that is where Rohrerstowns Sutphen TL ended up. I thought I had heard it went south somewhere. Guess it stayed in PA, good to see.
