wondering if you have pics of the other units there...and i noticed on Kentland33.com they are running out side the 1st due again. what is the news with that?
Nice pictures John! I hope to have shots of all those trucks by this time next week! I'd always wondered what was at Kentland 46. Where do they keep the older Seagrave? And what is that red engine with Kentland 331 on it, that's another new one on me!
So who runs the ambo in Kentland now?
M. Johnson
Concord F.D. Engine Co. 7 The Mighty Sevens IAFF L-1045
The red engine is a late 60's Seagrave they had sold to Bendersville Vol. Fire Co. Adams County Pa. they sold it to a collector in Elizabethtown Pa. He in turn sold it to a member of Bladensburg. He in turn sold it to a member of Kentland who restored it. it was slime lime in Bendersville.
Ah Mike, you want to know how the story ends.
Currenly PG does ambo service n 3's area and that is how the story ends. The PG Chief caved Kentland was freed PG will provide and staff an ambo it will be housed at 33's house BUT the staff will stay elsewhere (no point in having the Chief's spies in your house)
One more of the seagraves. then on to the companies that came to support Kentland.
Did a ride-a-long there years ago THE JET is VERY FITTING....she fly's
Pro-gres PA A sister to Kentland. They had the coolest Kentland T shirts but alas they were only sold in PA.
They had an orange ribbon and said Free 33
Ashburn from Loudoun Cty VA. Mike Sander's company.
These guys had permission from their chief to come over with the ceremonial piece. Then the chief ordered them home. ??????
Dunkirk from Calvert County MD
They got into their own trouble a year orso ago with the Calvert Chief. As I recall, it involved a tshirt.
Now for the PG Companiesthat came to support Kentlands. this took guts as the Chief could make life difficult for them. Casslebear's company was therebutI did not get a pic of their rig.
