Unfortunately, all good things come to an end and this is my last available scanned image for this thread; but... the Dr. Stinebaugh photo repository staff can undertake another marathon scanning session if the audience is willing to give a little guidance about what to include? Obviously, I didn't cover everything and I realize a few companies were lightly treated.
We end with a somewhat rare shot - this was Wheaton Rescue's quarters from 1958 to summer, 1969. It was located at 3211 Price Ave. in "downtown" Wheaton, and when I last saw it about 4 years ago, it was a restaurant.
Looks like 1 of the 60's Oldsmobile ambos parked on the street.

The Bethesda fleet sometime around 73...
photographer unknown
Side note, that field looks nothing like that now.
A large part of my collection was purchased from a GOOD man, John Floyd. I give him FULL credit on his work, although I may miss something. Thanks John. Also Scott Mattson, Warren Jenkins, Michael Schwartzberg, and Mike Sanders. Thanks Guys.

Tillerman,
Exactly where was that field? I worked on Bethesda Ave. for most of the 90's, and the house in the background looks a bit familiar. Great picture, keep 'em coming.

Next to station 6, the pic was taken from the roof. 40 foot tall pine trees hide it from the road now.

Ok Kevin sorry to keep you up. I grew up just down the street from there.
There was a huge stone house in the middle of the lot just about where the rear parking lot for
Sta 6 is now and the the rest of the lot was an apple orchard. My parents told me that the apple orchard went all the way down what is now Bradley Blvd. where the apartments are now .
So there ya go more usless info. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/computer.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

1 for Cosgrove! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/fireman.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Another view of Rockville's 73 Mack CF scope after its rehab in 91. I think this was at a Gaithersburg Labor Day parade. Has anyone shot this at its new home in Bristol, PA.???
BCCVRS maintains this restored Cadillac ambo for parades and musters; I think it was their last in service? Behind the Caddy is Bethesda FD's restored 1926 ALF engine.

This 1994 Duplex/Saulsbury 1250/750/50 for Rockville E-32 did not last long at RVFD, this one and its twin at E312 were both sold in 2001 to rural vfc's in PA. (This one went to Alum Bank VFD in Bedford County )
Rockville Trk. 31 was this 1987 Seagrave 100' that went with the MCFRS contingent to New Orleans for Katrina duty and ended up part of the NOFD, via donation.
Anyone have a pic of this rig when it was new and ran for a time as Trk. 18?

Most of these next ones I scaned from a yearbook, so I do not know who took them.
Sandy Spring, a 1924 International.
