The only specifics I have on it are that it's a 1957 American LaFrance 85' Tiller

This rig appears to be an ex-St. Louis TDA. Being an 85 footer, means it could be any one of five.

I think the Reg. No. for that one is 9096. I had it written down and came across it the other day. Does that match, or am I looking at the information for another truck? It could very well be an ex-Corning, NY truck - 1948 model with open cab and an 85 foot ladder.

Reg. No. 9096 was delivered on 05/29/1948.

I don't remember a whole lot about this one. It had been for sale online in the SPAAMFAA Classifieds in late-2003 and ended up in Carmel, Indiana, for a short time. That's where I saw it.
