Sorry guys but neither of you are quite right. It is Community Fire Company of Newfoundland and Oak Ridge, West Milford Township Fire Department Company 2, Passaic County. When organized in 1945 and for many years following it's service area included portions of Jefferson Township of Morris County that are in those postal designations. Today, the Jefferson Township Fire Co. 1 of Milton is the initial responder to areas in its own township. For the first 30 years of its existence, this company like the other 5 in West Milford Township relied on fund raisers for 95% of its budget.
