This one started its career as Auburn Fire Depts. Rescue 1, it was then sold to the Sherriffs Office and used for the Dive team. And here it sits..

That place is called Boot's and Hanks. There is another Syracuse peice in the I belive it is an E\-One/spartan squrt either E8 or E9. there are a few more pieces in there. And as far as scrap yards every where, that is very true.

Unknown Maxim......very sad shape. Pictures were sent courtesy of Rob Kemp in Nova Scotia, Canada. He found this truck in the lot of a construction company. Would anyone possibly have any idea where this truck originated from?

Sorry! Actually, it appears very similar to a late 1940's Maxim that went to Strasburg, OH.

This is a sad looking 1946 Dodge. I'm told it was built as an ambulance, then converted to haul equipment for a Fire Department. We think ??? it came out of McHenry County IL.



Does anyone know this truck or know the body builder. The truck needs to be saved if anyone is interested it's near Madison WI and I can provide information.

Hey guys, maybe this has been asked before, but how does Baltimore dispose of their surplus apparatus? Auction, dealer, scrap it? Just curious since many municipalities seem to have a different method when it comes to disposition. Thanks.

That's such a shame about the old Water Witch ladder truck. In it's day it was such a beautiful rig. I remember when the Arundel rescue was still in service too.
