as far as i know medic 32 is still a while off we are adding a new peak load unit with this years budget. there is talk of moving medic 19 or medic 27 to meet our obligation for avery ranch in 08 but i can not confirm. as far as i know the ESU is still at STARflight's hanger I have been off on FMLA for the past 4 weeks. the only sure talk i knew of was a new station in the Mueller development where the ESU will go along with a peak load unit and a regular unit but that is still a while off too. I intend to shoot the whole fleet soon including reserves the esu and starflight and I will share as I complete it
This this station in Avery Ranch going to be an Fire/EMS station or just an EMS station? Also Williamson County EMS is going to be putting a Medic unit at Sam Bass has well. Im not sure witch station tho?
Actually both rescue 21 now 28 and rescue 14 are running new quantum rescues I believe rescue 14 is labeled as an 06 and rescue 21/28 is an 07 there are subtle differences with the 2 as I believe rescue 14 does not have the raised roof on its cab
That is correct Rescue 14 dosen't have a raised cab.

Rescue 14's old 95 Freightliner/Saulsbury was reassigned to Rescue 20.

I thought the '95 FL120/Saulsbury from R17 went to R20?

Is there still a R17?

Thanks.

They replaced there Freightliner/Saulsbury with the old Rescue 14/21. Both Rescue 20 & Rescue 21 95 Freightliner/Saulsbury's are now reserves.

A couple of years ago 17's and 20's witch where Rescue 17 moved to 20's (Rescue 20) and Truck 20 moved to 17's (Truck 17 aka Ladder 17.)

Now I am confused. Ha ha. Could you explain the original assignments for the FL/Saulsbury rigs and the hand-me-down assignments?

Thanks.

The 3 Freightliner/Saulsbury rescues where original assigned to Rescue Co's 14, 17, & 21. I Don't remember the year but Rescue 17 was moved from 17's to 20's and became Rescue 20. In 2006 Rescue 14 95 Freightliner/Saulsbury was replaced with a 2006 Pierce Quantum rescue and there old Freightliner/Saulsbury was moved and assigned to 21's (Rescue 21). Rescue 21 old Freightliner/Saulsbury became a reserve. When the new 2007 Pierce Quantum heavy rescue was delivered it was assigned to 21's (Rescue 21) and the old Rescue 21 Freightliner/Saulsbury Ex-Rescue 14 was assigned to 20's (Rescue 20) Rescue 20 old Freightliner/Saulsbury also became a reserve.

A few Austin questions.

The only difference between a quint and ladder is the staffing as long as their rig is actually a quint?

Are all the "Quint Co.'s" single houses?

And what is the staffing on the engine and ladder towers?

Thanks.

I stand corrected. Your right A/TCEMSPM about Quint 19.
