I also took a couple shots of the first engine but it was tightly packed into the back lot.

Last one of the rear. The painted roll up door is a nice touch but it is already showing fine scratches as result of the road grime and grit that builds up on the rear of apparatus.

Any other pictures of it. Also, how is going to be striped. We bought a double to it without all the mars lights and rotoray. It is being delivered in march of 08. they could almost pass for doubles.....

The lettering and striping are suppose to match what was put on the TDA. They will have a sharp looking fleet once all three are completed!

Here is a shot of the other twin.As of Tuesday of this week the tiller was suppose to be going home to stay except for any warranty work. I was told that members spent the weekend at Fesco cleaning the truck for pictures for Seagrave's calender, seems kinda late to me but now days anything is possible.

Here's a shot of the new 2007 Pierce Dash mid mount(not sure if it is 95' or 100') with job# 19293.

It is lettered as Tower 619-Dulles South which is just off of US Route 50 and I think it is either an Arcola or Ashburn sub station(Mike Sanders can you help me here) but run by the county.

Terry,

South Riding Station 19 is a joint venture between Arcola (Station 9) and Loudoun County. Arcola volunteers have provided apparatus (engine and ambulance), and the county has also provided apparatus (new Tower 19 as well as the HAZMAT). The county has also placed 24 hour career staff at Station 19.

All Pierce mid mount platforms are 95'. Is Dulles South the name of the town or would Leesburg be correct for my database?

The station is generally called South Riding, the Dulles South thing was a bit unusual I thought. I guess that for the purpose of the database, Leesburg would the next real landmark.

Bill,

For database purposes, I would recommend Loudoun County, Virginia (South Riding - Arcola). South Riding is a large newer community in the Arcola area of Loudoun County. Loudoun County often gets misspelled - it is "Loudoun".

Thanks for the info one and all ! I thought someone had told me that Pierce did a 100' mid mount but maybe that was a ladder not the tower.

It may have reached 100 foot, with over inflated tires or the ground jacks placed as high as the ride could go!!! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/22_yikes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='22_yikes' />
