This one is also from Vermont where I found I couldn't tell you. It's from Broad Brook, VT and from what I can tell it's a International/Hahn.

Joe - I can't believe that rig (Philly Ladder 34) could look so good after 57 years. Do you know if it had been restored after it was retired from Philadelphia?

Found it out in a field in the early 80's, but forgot to write down where in NJ I took the picture.

Broad Brook Fire is in the East Barnard Section of Barnard (about 5 miles from the nearest paved road). They just replaced this engine last year with a late 80's KME Custom Pumper from somewhere in NY. Last summer it was sitting along side their firehouse with a for sale sign in the window. They also run a chevy tanker (former milk tanker) and a chevy brush truck, from the early 70's at best. This is really one of those tiny, unkown fire depts where you have to be terribly lost in order to find it.

I believe that this is a 1950 American LaFrance 65' aerial. These rigs were referred to as the "Flying Wedges" since they were 8" wider at the rear of the truck than at the front.

Amazing that the paint on this rig is in such good condition!
The only MARC in 46 ENGINE!
