Hey it's 68-11! That truck is an Ex-Wappingers Falls Fire Department Mack from W.T. Garner Fire Co. No. 1 here in Dutchess County. It was bought at auction I believe locally and the guy that owns it lives in Clinton Corners (so fictional name on the side). The only fire departments in that "Clinton" area of Dutchess County are East Clinton, West Clinton, and Stanfordville

Maybe someone can help on this one: this is a picture of Sayville (LI), NY's 1955 ALF 75' aerial 3-11-5. It was replaced in 1986 (by a Mack 'scope), and subsequently sold. I believe it went somewhere upstate, possibly Livingston County area (I'm guessing based on the Letchworth Lodge sign). It was originally open-cab, but then had the white fiberglass roof added in the '70s. Does anyone recognize this aerial, and if so have any info on its current whereabouts?

Also, they had a white over red '71 Mack CF pumper 3-11-1 that went to Delhi around 1992. Does anyone have a picture of that one, or any other former Sayville apparatus?

Thanks,

Pete

The old "Honeybee". A true classic. Remember that Sayville rig very well.
Kill 'em all, let Allah sort 'em out. NEVER forget 9/11/01 WTC, Pentagon, Pa. Avenge the acts with NO mercy.

Thanks to ALL the Brothers who were there 9/11/01 and afterwards. Words can never say what appreciation we have for you all.

Here's a [post="81825"]Link[/post] to a post with a couple of pictures of Clifton Springs' Ladder. It was acquired from the City of Canandaigua, not from Sayville.

Mannsville's truck is still in service. It is a regular at parades in Northern Oswego and Southern Jefferson Co. On the front it says "class of 64" and it is a classy old engine!
