Last one of this beauty...the in service date plate. This Spring I am personally going to try and organize a clean up party for the piece so we can clean her up as she is a tad bit dusty!
Odessa, DE R-24 ALF Rear Mount Rescue Engine. We had our Canteen parked next to this rig when it was parked in the marshalling yard for FDIC this year, and several of us were allowed inside to check it out. It has a microwave oven, refrierator, coffee maker and storage for basically a small kitchen. Very nicely laid out as a rehab unit as well as an attack apparatus.

This truck now belongs to the chief of the Weyers Cave VFD in Virginia. The chief brings it out from time to time & lets people

this rig is from Southern Manheim VFC in Lancaster County. This ALF Aero Chief 80 served Claymont and Middletown, DE and Margate, NJ. Originally built on a 900 Series chassis, it was refurbed with an open-cab Century cab.
Another ALF Century 2000, this one runs as Engine 434 in Cheswold, DE. It's a 1500/1000.
This 700 Series 750/500 ran as Engine 75-1 in Ellendale, DE.

I think this one was originally from Watch Hill, Rhode Island. somewhere I have a slide of it as Watch Hill.
