Chad,
Thnaks for the PICS do you have interior PICS? I think these units are the most interesting units in service, since they are so customized between services.

Last time I saw the Lousiana units close was a few years ago. At least they get the nice green/white paint. Our Mississippi units have to be white with an orange stripe which is ugly,[/quote]
Yeah, they're pretty found of named regions in this state. The only ones I know are Acadiana and the Florida Parishes.
I thought all of the Acadian ambulances were green and white. Is the white w/ orange stripe a state mandate in Mississippi? I'd love to see some pics.

Yes it is a state EMS rule. All ambulances in Mississippi must be white with some kind of "Omaha" orange striping. It's an old outdated rule that wont change anytime soon. We actually right now have a green/white unit in our county as a reserve unit due to our frontline trucks being overdue for remount and a new full time crew taking over a spare. When the green/white has to be used the state said we have to notify them and it cant be used for more than like 24 hrs in a 48hr period or something kinda goofy like that. Attached is a pic of our newest Miss. unit. This is unit 232 out of Pascagoula. This one was put online past August. Ive been out since May so I still havnt been in it and probably wont till late January.

Here in SC we finally got the rule changed this past July. Now units can be any color as long as the stripe is reflective and meets minium size requirements.

I saw this fly by the other night while I was fueling up one of our rigs. It looks pretty sweet! Whoever was driving tapped the horn at us!

Northwood (NH) Fire-Rescue took delivery of this rig last friday. It is a 2007 AEV Trauma Hawk that is replacing a 2001 Lifeline.
** If anyone is looking for a used rig, the Lifeline will be going out to bid sometime in the near future. PM me if you might be interested and I can get you the info when it become available.**
