Thanks for posting some of your Hahn pics Joel, I love seeing these old Hahns from NJ and PA as well as other areas. While on the subject of Hahns, does anyone possibly have a list of Hahn top-mount engines? There is one at Northwoods VFD in North Carolina (which I haven't shot yet), but no one can remember where it came from. It is a 1970s top-mount that was solid red or white-over-red where ever it served previously. I talked with GA Dave about this truck and apparently there were only a handful Hahn top-mounts ever made.

Kempton FC (Berks Co.),PA. 1989 Hahn 1500/900 canopy cab top-mount. Painted white over lime yellow.
How do you scan old slides ? JDB
Hahn didn't build many top mount pump panels until after the introduction of the 92 cab. Hahn top mounts on the 84 or 84/92 cabs are pretty rare. Micah, make sure you grab those numbers when you shoot the one in Northwoods. I have a delivery list. On a Hahn, the data plates can be found inside the officer's door on the seat base and/or on the pump panel plate.
Alright, I will make sure I get the numbers for it when I shoot it. My contact there said it had a square looking cab, so I'm guessing its a 84 cab. Its looking like I am getting out there sometime in March or April and will be an overnight trip since Northwoods is outside Lumberton, a 2 and a half hour or longer drive from Charlotte.

I would have purchased it if I had a place to put it.
Who purchased it in CA?
Frank B and/or Bruce, I was told recently, that all of the remains of Hahn Fire Apparatus , the name, all the engineering records, all of the manufacturing equipment, etc. was purchased by American La France after Hahn closed up shop. Has anyone else heard of this?
