Originally assigned to Q166, Q86 is one of two '98 KMEs bought. The other one went to 153's. Other than these 2, County Fire has I believe 2 other straight frame quints (162 & 187). The rest of the current quints are tillered quints.

Come to think of it, the county did have some 1995 KME, Westates, Aerial Innovations Rear Mount Quints.
People complaining about spam in the spam mail box... Huh, what'll they think of next?

Engine 216 is one of the few two cars in LA County that has ots own district. This rig was formally Engine 9 at the time both Station 9 and Station 16 were in need of new Statioms. So rather than build two new Fire Station's the county built the new house on the border of Station 16 and Station 9. Engine 9 closed and became Engine 216.
Look like Code 2 Oscilaser lights. We have them on the front of our Ladder Tower and won't get them again as they are very maintenance intensive. Always losing the ground wire from the movement of the light.

Yes the housing is the Code3 Oscilaser type but there is a LED flasher inside.

It's a great tool, but I wonder how many kids, who are the main target of this thing, have any clue who Yogi Bear is? Maybe change it to the Spongebob Earthquake Classroom.
