I've only seen one partial picture from Fire-Rescue East 2008 of this sharp new truck, but I had to try and attempt it. Once I get better pictures, I will add the final details and clean it up a bit more. Word is that the Chief likes this color scheme and Buccaneers lettering so much that they might start going with it on all of the new rigs - very cool. Thank goodness for something different looking out there!
Well, 3 months since we started to look at a new engine and I was asked to draw something up that would be user friendly and carry a ton of equipment. Here is what I came up with...credits to Kdwmaemt, ri emt and ARFF-FF
Since St. Louis only runs with two rescues, I thought they could use a few relief units. There would be 3 of these runnning around the city. This is Squad 4, "Protector of the Southside." In the middle cab window I added an Imos Pizza logo, the best pizza in STL (And my 1st Employer). The original restaurant is in Squad 4's coverage.
Here's a 1970 American LaFrance Pioneer pumper, once operated by L.A. County Fire Dept. I drew the entire rig myself, except the wheels, light, and pump panel details. Credits as always to KDWMAEMT & RI EMT for those items. THANKS!
Here's the first of a few that I'm working on for a department in Illinois. They wanted to use some of these in powerpoint safety presentations and such.
Heres something that has taken up most of my drawing time of late....which isnt much. After taking a look at the preliminary concept drawings provided by Seagrave, I made some alterations to a previous version of this truck to match what has now been ordered.
This is a drawing of Reading MA Seagrave Force 100' rearmount ladder truck. It was just ordered in late December/Early January and should be delivered sometime in October of this year. Kudos to Reading C5 (firelaw757) on designing an awesome rig which will serve Reading proudly for years to come. Their Seagrave engine, ordered last July, has been delivered to the local Seagrave dealer and will be delivered to the department shortly.
While Im posting, Ill repost Readings new Seagrave engine. This will replace Engine 2's Freightliner/3D stationed at the West Side Station on Woburn St. An identical engine is planned for purchase possibly later this year to replace Engine 4 at HQ.
Whoa, it's been a while. Nice work everyone! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' />
