I just read that American La France is pretty much done is that true? I also heard E\-One was looking at the current ALF plant for purchase can anyone confirm or deny?

ALF isn't done yet, but they have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. E\-One being interested in that plant is a new one, seeing as how they aren't exactly doing all that great either!

i know i heard that one as well. here in baltimore county we are not very happy with the last batch of alf pumpers we have. we have had our share of problems with them for sure.

This is ALF Reg. #7-1-169, a 1966 Aero Chief 90 from Milmont Park, PA. They were the only FD to operate it and it was retired a few years ago. There's a better shot of it on www.aerochief.com
