Thanks for posting the Brentwood stuff. The Mack C was the truck my dad started his career on. 407 was his main unit. The Mack MC was the first fire truck I ever played on!



The Mack C is now displayed at Suntrup Ford in Kirkwood, MO.

The Mack MC was painted white when purchased by St. Clair, MO FPD in 1994. St. Clair sold the unit in 2002 to an unknown department in the East. *Info from Dennis Maag*

Oh, yeah, the good 'ol white Rock Hill Seagrave! You could hear that beast coming a mile away, with the roar of the Detroit and the mufflers! For you out of town apparatus buffs, the Rock Hill rig was a 1970 model. It was replaced by an early 1980's Seagrave pumper that the City of Rock Hill purchased from nearby University City Fire Department, back in the late 1980's. They still have it today as their reserve pumper.



Matt, that was NOT me who was sitting up in the tiller seat of the old Hook & Ladder 1 making siren noises! Maybe it was Roger....or YOU, but it definately was NOT me! LOL! Those were fun times, definately!

I knew your Dad well, he was a great guy! I had the opportunity to drive the Mack C in a parade for Mike Duffy and his restaurant staff. That was interesting driving a stick at 5 MPH for 45 minutes, my clutch leg still hurts.
