Nice looking rig. What is the pump size and tank capacity?

John - Here you go. I was just with the E\-One rep today. If I find out more, I'll let you know.

Engine 508 2008 E\-One Cyclone II, 4-door, w/r, Detroit 515 HP diesel, Allison EVS 4000P AT, 1500 (Hale QMAX)/740/40. I think one is due very shortly and the other a tad later.

I forgot to add that the white over red apparatus are a departure from the normal all red rigs at Youkshire.

Thanks Jerry.

Did you know, I bet you did, that Bedford sold the old Richmond Truck and have a new Truck?

The picture of the old one is here Some shots by bcfd424 and the new ride is on Bedfords web site.

Any arrival news on the Red Truck for Chesterfield?

I was in Roanoke for work for a couple of days this week. I arrived in the later afternoon and went by the local Pierce shop (Singer) to see what they had. The guys at Singer were very nice and accomodating and moved around several trucks. The sun was getting low which made for some tough shadows.

Longshop-McCoy VFD in Montgomery County, Virginia had their Tanker 68 at Singer for some work.

Here is the mural on the side of Tanker 68 - I am sure it has a special meaning for the Longshop-McCoy VFD.

McLean, Virginia in Fairfax County ran this tough looking 1979 GMC Brigadier/Saulsbury as their Squad 1. It also had a 250/200.

From McLean it was sold to The Plains, Virginia in Fauquier County. I was told by someone from The Plains that they sold it to some company that did work with railroads. The GMC squad was extensively modified and had the capability to drive on the rails. Sure would have loved to have seen that truck.

Photographed in 1980.

The Plains, located in Fauquier County, once ran this 1970 Ford F/Young as their Tanker 4. Equipped with a 750/1000, it carried s/n 70-364.

I recall this being used at the county landfill once leaving The Plains. Not sure of its status now.

Photographed 1978.
