You sir are correct, I believe that you took this photo at west potomac? this was wagon 21 of the Mt.Weather Fire and Rescue Dept, of the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Now under Homeland Security. You don't see many Pierce Lances like this but there were a few around but most went with the fully enclosed cab. The Liberty Fire Co. of New Berlinville,Pa. runs this 1989 model with a 1250gpm pump,job# E-5019.

Engine 22 is a frontline engine. It runs along with Truck 11 in the brightwood section of the city. It is a very tough station to get decent pictures at.
