It's ironic I was thru Los Fresnos last week but they were out on runs and couldn't get any shots, glad you did.

I don't know the story behind this? But STAT Air 2 gets a new chopper all the time.

[quote name='cooltex' post='206126' date='Apr 17 2008, 18:27 ']This is a Special Care Transport, or in other words the truck they use if they can not fly. Lots of helo companies down here use them, I know PHI has three, two of which are at Scott & White in Temple. Not sure where this truck runs out of, but I would assume Harris Ft Worth or the Careflight Dallas base (can't remember which hospital they are at right now).

Thanks for the info cooltex.

PHI did have one stationed at the Georgetown airport. I'm not sure if it's still there or not?

Usually the one for Gorgetown and temple are kept at S&W's ambulance repair center, Located directly behind (east) of the new hospital. Next time I take someone down there and have time, I will try to get some pics.

Is the ambulance repair center on the hospital grounds?
