Yea they dont use the feature on any of the trucks that have them...I dont recall if there was an incident deciding this or it was just a no go from the start maybe someone else can fill in that hole, but they do not use the all steer on the rigs.
Tower ladder 10 is the only rig that uses the allsteer. The allsteer is currently o/s due to an electrical problem. According to the shops E-8,4,32, and L-11 are all turned off.

Engine 21 either got a paint job & had there stripping and lettering re done or this is a spare..
Pretty sure this is Engine 10's old piece. If this is the same one it was sent out for new paint and I think they cleaned up the interior as well. Engine 21 is suppose to be getting one of the new E\-One pumps.
no clue why I put the two Lynn pieces in this thread....way to go late night posting <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banghead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Engine 4 running with SP52 (Former E52)
It still amazes me these 1987's E\-One canopy cabs are still around, even as spares..The city sure got their money's worth out of them. I wonder if today's E-Ones will still be around in 23 years.

SP10, former Engine 10. Engine 48 was using this last week.
Did E 10 have a truck with a vista cab between the 1995 E One protector and the 2008 E One they have now? What happened to the former E 2 that 21 had? Also saw that E 33 was running with SP 7... looks like it was repainted as well... Saw one of the 87 E One's running as 49 and another one with new paint and lettering as well... didn't see who was running it though. |
