Well that's it for now more to come later today, I'm off on a roadtrip to go pick up my GF at her mom's house downstate, hopefully I'll find some interesting rigs today in my travels. Hope you all enjoyed my recent relic pics I have found in my archives.
I'm not positive, but they look to be quite possibly at the old truck junkyards which used to be called Mancuso's on state route 33 between Bergen,NY and Batavia,NY in Genesee County. Those old junkyards used to have all kinds of old firetrucks, police cars, ambulances, and also tractor trailer trucks, and transit buses from all around the WNY area in them years ago, but they have become much smaller since then, and I'm not sure if they even have any of the old relics still lying around, as it's been a while since I've had the chance to stop by there in daylight hours, as lately every time I go thru that area, it's either early morning before sun up, or it's after dark at night time. I'm gonna have to get out that way this spring and see what's still floating around out there, if anything.
Try this address in www.maps.live.com 7652 Clinton Street Rd, Bergen, NY it shows an aerial view of a lot of what could be old engines and ambulances

These two trucks are at the Gaston College Regional Services Training Center in Dallas, NC. They were donated by their respective departments for use at the training center.

The "newest truck" at the facility is Belmont FD's old Engine 431.

This tanker spent only a very short time in service at Cleveland. My department runs mutual aid with them quite often and while I remember it siting outside for a while, I don't ever recall in in service there. When it was, it was a back up tanker to their mid-90's Frieghtliner tanker. Also my guess that it is a Sanford.

Found this relic sitting snowbound on the side of the road today while on the road heading to pick up my GF from her Mom's house. It's a Ford C/??? Heavy Rescue Truck which formerly served the Owasco,NY FD. The vehicle looks to be in pretty decent shape, and is also for sale. In case anyone in CNY is interested in it, it sits on State Route 31 along the south shore of Oneida Lake a few miles east of Bridgeport, NY in Madison County.

And finally a front shot of the rig. Perhaps when the snow melts in the spring out that way, I can get back out that way and catch a few better pics of it. Hope you all enjoyed the pics.

I believe that's one of the pieces owned by the Carolinas SPAAMFAA chapter, The Rekindle Society. It's probably at the chapter Presidents house. Unfortunately, I don't have the rig specifics, nor where it may have come from handy. I'll post the info if I can find it. Ring the door next time, this truck is owned by the Rekindle Society, NC/SC chapter of SPAAMFAA, it is at the Presidents house (Travis Stafford) having work done to it. Just got an email from him, stating, if your driving around SC taking Fire Truck photos, then you need to join our group.

Here's chapter's website:
