A look into Vincents Future rig, SQUAD 17

I was watching the episode in the first season of Rescue Me, the one where (Battalion) Chief Reilly is going to court for beating up a gay, retired firemen. In that episode there is a specific shot on a "Boston" fire house where the chief's son works. If you notice the ladder in the and is actually the same Eone they use for the FDNY scenes, but labeled boston (not to say I expect them to buy an entirely new truck for one shot). Anyway this shot inspired me to create this. Its about a quarter boston spec and the other 75% is to the spec of the Eone they used in the first season. Its not perfect, just and a look inside the mind of insanity.

My immediate first thought on this rig was that it looks like the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree of Fire Engines. Poor thing.
While I was at it, I thought I'd add a front and rear to KDWMAEMT's Boston ladder (Credit also to RIEMT). Quick note, I don't know boston's spec, I've frankly never been there, corrections welcome, I was just trying to help.

Can't wait for the return of Rescue Me. There aren't a lot of shows that regularly make me laugh out loud. Well since all the cool kids are showing 4 views of the trucks now, I guess I should as well. With photo season on hold (mostly), I'll venture back into drawing for a while. My department just placed this baby on order, so it should be busy protecting the Town and I-69 in about 10 months...
Wait a minute......I concider myself to be a "cool kid" and I dont always post a 4 sided view!!!!!! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue1.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
As a matter of fact, heres 4 generic trucks....all 1 sided. Im protesting the "cool kids". <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/stirpot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Credit to Fyreline, RIEMT and Myself.
Since its apparently coming for real this time, heres a reworked version of the older Boston Seagrave tiller I posted a while back. Boston hopefully will look hard at Walthams new Seagrave tiller very closely when coming up with specs. They can get a heavy duty ladder with the A frame jacks since they dont order ladders with pre-piped waterways. And Seagrave actually calls that particular ladder the Waltham Ladder as its built with higher handrails on each section versus their standard aerial. I found that quite interesting.

Indy just placed twin Pierce Arrow XT demo units into service at Stations 1 and 31. Surprisingly (and sadly) they replace a tower and one of our last two Tillers. Only 1 active tiller still left and it's time is overdue. We're hoping they won't replace that 1996 with a plain stick, but you never know. 95% of the credit to RIEMT here, minor mods and paint by me.
