Hose beds/loads
From the yellow hose back:

Yellow 1 3/4 - 400'

Middle - 1" -500' or 600' depending on jurisdiction

White striped 1.5" - 400'

I have no idea about the green hose, I haven't seen it till now.
Are they pre-connects or just loaded on there to be connected at desired length?

None of the hoses are pre connected. The FF usually pull out the desired length and connect then as they need.

Thanks for the info. Amazing to see how everyone does the same job, yet we all have different set ups for hose. Some pre-connect, some don't. Some triple back and others use the minute man. East coast to West coast, everyone is different but still the same. Great shots everyone, keep them coming.

I've never asked. Just know that they do. Different hoses for different applications I guess.

Actually they use the 1" hose much more for wildland fires. In fact the LAFD just received some new USFS spec wildland hose packs for that reason.
